Walter Harrison Emerson II;

b. Jun.19 1922      bp. Yonkers, NY       d. While at work, Apr. 26 1972      rp. Wallkill Cemetery, Wallkill, NY.
m. Apr. 24 1949 to Joan (Johnson) of Elmsford, NY.   They divorced after 24 years of marriage.

Walter was captured by the Germans during the Battle of the Bulge. While in captivity he was hit with a rifle butt and lost and eye.
