NOTE - THE ONLY INDEX PAGES AVAILABLE ON THIS SITE ARE FOR THE LETTERS "A" AND "B". A summary of the available microfilm pages (and some transcription text) is viewable in this table. The transcription of the microfilm for 1927 has been much easier than the preceding two years. Each page has fewer total names than in 1926 and 1927 and the quality of the lettering is very good. There are a lot of clues as to the "correct" numbers (e.g., the counties must have received stacks of certificates at various times through the year and submitted them as they filed, meaning that there are blocks of certificate numbers for each county). After each page is transcribed, the resulting text is submitted to the Database at Virtual Genealogy. Periodic reviews of the 1927 results have indicated errors, which are then corrected in the baseline transcription. After the initial work is completed, a quality review is planned.
