COOGAN 50th

Jack and Marilyn Coogan of Kenosha will celebrate their golden
wedding anniversary with a family dinner at their home on Saturday.

Jack and the former Marilyn Smith met at a church social and were
married at St. George Catholic Church on May 7, 1966. The lifelong
Kenosha residents are members of St. Mary's Catholic Church.

Jack, who served in the U.S. Marine Corps, worked for AMC/Chysler
for 42 years before retiring in February 2001.  Marilyn is a home-
maker and has been a member of St. Mary's religious education
program for 35 years.

The Coogans have six children: Michelle Coogan, Craig Coogan and
Mary Coogan, all of Kenosha; William Coogan, Martinsburg, W.Va.;
Ronald Coogan, Waukegan, Ill., and the late Scott Coogan.  They
also have three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

They say the key to their lasting relationship is commitment, trust
loyalty, honoring their vows, always putting the family first and
being best friends.
