F. Regis Cyphers died at home in Dormont, Pittsburgh, PA. after a significant illness. He was survived by 10 children, 18 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren. Funeral conducted from Slater II Funeral Home, Green Tree, Pittsburgh, PA. Mass of Resurrection held at St. Pius X Church with burial at St. Mary's Cemetery, Pittsburgh (Lawrenceville), PA Regis was the brother of Joan Cyphers Coogan and Marilyn Cyphers Ryan.
