Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Coogan of Hobbs will celebrate their
golden wedding anniversary May 28 with a mass of thanksgiving at
Saint Helena's Catholic Church, East Bender Boulevard.

All friends of the couple are invited to attend the ceremony, which
will begin at 5:30 p.m.

The couple was married May 28, 1932 in Saint Patrick's Church in
Watertown, Mass., and moved to Hobbs in December of 1962.

They have twin daughters, Bonnie Moran of Hobbs and Charlene
Geltmacher of Las Vegas, Nev., and 10 grand-children.

Out of town guests attending include Coogan's twin sister, 
Josephine Coogan of West Yarmouth, Mass.; Irene Golden, Coogan's
sister from West Yarmouth, Mass.; and Dorothea Coogan, of Malden,
Mass., Coogan's cousin.

Other guests include sisters of Mrs. Coogan, Florence Harrington
of Newtonville, Mass.; Anne Welsh of Watertown, Mass.; Millie
Arnold of Framingham, Mass.; Marion Snodgrass of Woonsocket, R.I.;
and Mrs. Joseph Guidrey, accompanied by her husband, of Fort
Wayne, Indiana.

Also planning to attend are Mr. and Mrs. George Warren of Atlanta,
Ga., Mrs. Coogan's sister-in-law and husband, and her daughter and
son-in-law, Dr. and Mrs. G. Louis Herlin of Albuquerque.

Special guests include Jane Dennison and her mother Gladys Dolan of
Holliston, Mass., and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph McGannon of Albuquerque.
