been manager of the restaurant of the City Club and its successor,
the chamber of commerce, will relinquish her position Saturday 
night.  She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John H. Coogan of No.
[210] Wayne street, and is to be married after Easter to Benjamin
Johnston of Cleveland...

BARBA / COOGAN - Colleen Marie Coogan and Brandon Anthony Barba 
were married July 26, 2003, in Holy Family Church, Fairmount.
Officiating was the Rev. Phil Brockmyre.  The bride is the daughter 
of Terry and MaryAnn Coogan, of Syracuse.  The groom is the son of 
Thomas and Doreen Barba, of Camillus.  Erin A. Coogan, sister of 
the bride, was honor attendant.  Bridesmaids were Kristie Barba, 
sister of the groom; Sarah Connor, Bridget Devlin, Jennifer Pucci 
and Jamie Lynch.  Best man was Todd Klaban.  Ushers were Bryan 
Coogan, brother of the bride; William Tisdell, David Giunta and 
Michael Bohne.  A reception was held at Lake Shore Yacht & Country 
Club, Cicero.  The couple honeymooned in Negril, Jamaica.  Both 
are graduates of West Genesee High School. The bride is a graduate 
of State University College at Geneseo and is employed by 
Washington Lee High School, Arlington, Va. The groom is a graduate 
of State University College at Oswego and is employed by National 
Hydro Power Association, Washington, D.C.  They live in Arlington.

ERIN A. COOGAN - SCOTT A. PHILLIPS - Terry and Mary Ann Coogan, of 
Camillus, announce the engagement of their daughter, Erin A. Coogan, 
to Scott A. Phillips, son of Ora and Joyce Phillips, of Watertown.  
An October 25, 2008, wedding is being planned.

PHILLIPS / COOGAN - Erin Ann Coogan and Scott Andrew Phillips were 
married October 25, 2008, at Holy Family Church in Syracuse. The 
bride is the daughter of Terry and Maryann Coogan, of Syracuse. The 
groom is the son of Ora and Joyce Phillips of Watertown.  Matron of 
honor was Colleen Barba, sister of the bride, of Syracuse. 
Bridesmaid was Abigayle Phillips, daughter of the groom, of 
Syracuse.  Flower girl was Sofia Barba, niece of the bride. Best man 
was Derek Phillips, brother of the groom, of Rome, N.Y. Groomsmen 
were Bryan Coogan, brother of the bride, and Jacob Phillips, son of 
the groom, both of Syracuse.  The bride wore her mother's wedding 
dress.  A reception was held in the Empire Room.  The couple resides 
in Syracuse.
