LILLIAN M. USHER COOGAN - Mrs. Lillian M. Usher Coogan, 81, of 213 Water St., Fayette City, died in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital, today at 1:55 a.m. She was born in Fayette City, Dec. 11, 1896, daughter of Stewart and Mary Sheets Usher. She was a member of the Fayette City Methodist Church, and was chief Bell Telephone operator in Fayette City from 1910 until 1936, when she retired. She is survived by one son, Leslie, of Fayette City, one daughter, Mrs. Michael (Betty) Pudish of Stockdale, one sister, Mrs. Emma Menear of Morgantown, W. Va., and one grandson. Coogan of Uniontown, formerly of Fayette City, died Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in the Uniontown Hospital following a brief illness. He was 51. Mr. Coogan was born May 10, 1930 in Fayette City, a son of the late Leslie and Lillian M. Usher Coogan. He was a member of the Fayette City United Methodist Church. Mr. Coogan was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corporation's Allenport Plant. Survivors include his widow, Martha George Coogan; one step-daughter, Mrs. Corrine Monaco of Uniontown; one sister, Mrs. Betty Pudish of Belle Vernon; one nephew, John L. Kimball of Charleroi; and one great-nephew. Friends will be received will be received in the J. Harry Johnston Funeral Home, 65 N.
