http://www.cooganresearchgroup.com/crg/index.htm 03 October 2011 COOGAN Death Notices extracted from the "Deaths Reported", "Deaths", "Died" and "Obituaries" pages of the "Trenton State Gazette" [NJ] [Date listed is publication date]: ***Note - not a complete listing*** 10 FEB 1873 [COOGAN] - Edward Coogan, of Paterson, went into a saloon on Thursday [06 FEB 1873], and after taking a number of drinks went to sleep in a chair. Suddenly he ceased snoring, which attracted attention. On examination it was found that he died from apoplexy. 11 DEC 1875 [COOGAN] - Mrs. Coogan, of No. 325 Second street, Jersey City, died on Wednesday [08 DEC 1875], at the good and ripe old age of one hundred and one years. She was the oldest woman in the city, and probably the State. She enjoyed good health almost up to the time of her death. ____________________________________________________________________ ***
