"Boots" Petty, on July 22, 1937, Seattle, WA. Passed away suddenly Saturday, October 18, 2008. Graduated Franklin High School, Seattle 1955. After graduation, she attended business school and worked. In 1957 she married Ross T. Coogan (deceased). She lived her years in the Seattle area except for 3 years in the midn 80's when the family resided in Nashville, Tennessee. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grand-mother and was fortunate to be able to stay home to raise her six children. She was a supporter of the family and an avid supporter of their education and upbringing. She was active in PTA and her children's activities. She drove school bus during the 70's and 80's for a private school and then Kent School District. She loved her home and role as wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Always attending their games, music programs and any activity the children participated in. She always loved to travel and after her children were raised, she went back to school and turned to her new career - travel. She took much pride in her work as a wholesale travel consultant at Costco Travel. Her travels took her to Europe - Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Mexico - Cancun, Los Cabos, Puerto Vallarta, Ixtapa and her many ventures to Hawaii as well as travel throughout the United States. She was pre-deceased by her parents. She is survived by her six children, Ross T. Coogan Jr. (Pamela), Pamela J. Nelson (Walter), Michael R. Coogan, Kimberly S. Adam (Dave), ***[missing Robert J. Please sign the guest book at www.bonneywatson.com. 05 DEC 2010 LENORA ANN FITTING - FORT WORTH - Lenora Ann Fitting, 92, passed away Wednesday, November 24, in Fort Worth, Texas while visiting her daughter's family. Lenora Fitting was born July 21, 1918 in Seattle, Washington, a city she loved greatly. She was the daughter of the late Terrence and Isabelle Coogan and had five siblings. They were a happy family and Lenora often reminisced about her childhood and young adulthood with them. Lenora graduated from Roosevelt High School in Seattle and attended the University of Washington. She was married to Frederick Neville Fitting. The Fittings had one child, Joan. The family lived in Seattle, the Territory of Hawaii and the San Francisco Bay Area, where Lenora was an officer along with her husband in their company, Metra Instruments. In later years, Lenora moved back to Seattle. Lenora enjoyed travel and reading and was an excellent cook. Her family was her passion and life, and she is reunited with them once more. COOGAN - Glenn C. Coogan, age 55, died on Sunday, September 11, 2011 in Aberdeen (Westport) Washington of a heart attack. He was born on May 22, 1956 in Stuttgart, Germany to William Edward and Maria Rita Coogan. As an infant he moved with his parents to the U.S.A. and grew up in Tacoma and Vancouver, Washington. He graduated in 1974 from Hudson Bay High School in Vancouver, Washington. While in school he excelled in track and basketball, and truly treasured his relationships with all of his friends. Glenn enjoyed golf, climbing, hiking, biking and fishing. He will be remembered for his generosity, work ethic, and persistence in getting things done right. He was a man with many friends, always looking to encourage and help others. He loved his friends and family and lived life to the absolute fullest. He is a friend who will never be forgotten. Glenn is survived by his wife Janice of Woodinville; son Steven Coogan of Vancouver, WA; his mother Maria Orendurff of Vancouver, WA; brother Don Coogan of Yacolt, WA; sister Rosemary Hard of Washougal, WA; two nieces Tamara Asplund and Sarah Joyce and a nephew Sean Monear, all of Vancouver. The extended family includes great nephews Jorden, Evyn, and Jackson, and a great niece Morgyn. Glenn was preceded in death by his son David Glenn Coogan. Glenn was Vice President of Northwest Operations for Ascentia Wine Estates and was based in Woodinville, Washington overseeing operations for Columbia, Covey Run, and Ste. Chapelle wineries. Glenn served as Vice Chair of the Washington Wine Commission and Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Washington Wine Industry Foundation. Glenn worked as Vice President of Operations for Ste. Michelle Wine Estates from 1997 to 2002. In 2002, he became the Vice President of Northwest Operations for Constellation Wines. He continued working with Columbia, Covey Run and Ste. Chapelle following their acquisition by Ascentia Wine Estates in 2008. In prior years, Glenn worked for Ocean Spray Cranberries as a manufacturing manager. He received his Bachelor of Economics from Portland State University in 1981. A celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 PM on September 24, 2011 at Columbia Winery 14030 NE 145th ST, Woodinville WA.
