He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Army Air Corps. Before retirement, he was a self-employed master plumber in Baltimore and Boca Raton. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Gertrude Coogan, of Port St. Lucie, and a sister, Katherine Mamock, of Annapolis Md. He was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
