CHARLEY L. COOGAN, 73, a resident of Modesto 34 years, died 
yesterday in a local hospital following a long illness.  A native of 
Arkansas, he was a field foreman for Cowan and Sanders Co. 25 years.  
He was a veteran of World War I.  Survivors are his widow, Ida J. 
Coogan of Salida and a son, Carrol Coogan of Modesto.  Services will 
be held at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow in the Franklin & Downs Funeral Home.  
Private burial will be in the Lakewood Memorial Park.

BELVIA AMERICA COOGAN - Belvia (Toots) America Coogan, 56, died 
yesterday in a Ceres hospital after a long illness.  Services will 
be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the Franklin & Downs Colonial 
Chapel, 12th and G Streets, Modesto, with burial in Lakewood 
Memorial Park.  Mrs. Coogan was a native of Oklahoma who came to 
the Stanislaus area in 1959.  She belonged to the Keyes Assembly of 
God Church.  Survivors include her widower, Carroll W. Coogan of 
Modesto; a step-daughter, Sharon Robbins of Modesto; brothers Noah 
and Myron Osborn and a sister, Billie Halligan, all of Keyes and 
two grandchildren.

IDA J. COOGAN, 86, of Modesto, died Monday.  SERVICES. Funeral 11
a.m. Saturday at Lakewood Memorial Park.  Visitation noon to 8 p.m.
Friday at the funeral home.  BACKGROUND. Native of Arkansas.  Lived
in Modesto since 1971.  Homemaker.  Attended Assembly of God Church
in Salida and Modesto.  Loved quilting and making quilt tops.
SURVIVORS. Son, Carroll W. Coogan of Modesto.  One brother.  Two
sisters.  One grandchild and three great-grandchildren.

CARROLL W. COOGAN - Nov. 25, 1920 - March 9, 1994 - Carroll W. 
Coogan, 73, of Modesto died Wednesday at Doctors Medical Center.  
Mr. Coogan was a native of Arkansas. He lived in Modesto 50 years. 
Before retiring he was a field foreman and employed with Cowan & 
Sanders.  He is survived by his daughter, Sharon Robbins of Modesto; 
and three grandchildren and one greatgrandchild.  A funeral will be 
conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Colonial Chapel of Franklin & Downs, 
Modesto.  Burial will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park, Hughson. 
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at the chapel.

PATRICIA COOGAN - May 25, 1934 - Oct 23, 2016 - Peacefully passed
away after a short illness.  She was born in Oklahoma City to the 
late Nadine Hardwick and Joe B. Hardwick. She was preceded in death
by a sister, Betty Jo Katzka. Pat is survived by her sister, Joyce
Hume of Morton, Ill., son of Jeff Gartner of Hawaii, daughters,
Christine Birdwell of Ohio, Lynne Green of Modesto, Cynthia Sanchez
of Oklahoma, 8 grandkids & 9 great grandkids.  A Memorial Service
Tues. Nov. 29th 2pm @ St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 709 J St.
