MRS. LUCY COOGAN - Mrs. Lucy (McCarthy) Coogan, formerly of Lowell,
died Tuesday [22 MAY 1934] night at the Providence hospital, after 
a short illness. Besides her husband Frank Coogan, she leaves six 
daughters, Rita, Barbara, Marion, Noreen, Phyllis and Dorothy; a 
son, Francis Coogan; her father, Jere McCarthy; a brother, Frank, 
and two sisters, Mrs. John McGill and Mrs. John Leary, and several 
cousins in Lowell.  The body was taken to her home in West Warwick, 
R.I.

Sympathy is extended to Mrs. Mary Coogan of Stoneham, a trustee of 
the state hospital for more than 25 years whose son, George Coogan, 
died Sunday [19 FEB 1939].  Funeral services were held Tuesday.  He 
had been ill at his home for several weeks.  For the past three 
years he had been employed at the State hospital and at the time of 
his death was in charge of the industrial department.  Besides his 
mother, he leaves a brother and two sisters.
