SYLVIA COOGAN

LAMAR - Sylvia M. Coogan, 90, of Lamar died Thursday, April 14,
2005, in a Lamar nursing home.  She was a homemaker, a member of
Assembly of God and the widow of Willie Coogan.

Funeral will be 1 p.m. today at the Beasley-Wood Chapel in Mena
with burial at Hilton Cemetery in Boardcamp under the direction of
Roller-Cox Funeral Home of Clarksville.

She is survived by a daughter, Rosey Lewis of Clarksville; two
sons, James Coogan of Mena and John Coogan of Clarksville; a 
sister, Opal Davis of Whiteberg, Texas; 12 grandchildren, 16 
great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Dennis Dilbeck, Gary Davis, Kenneth Cossey,
Harold Coogan and Samuel and Johnny Bass.

Mena, died Tuesday, April 14, 2005, in Clarksville.

Funeral will be 1 p.m. Sunday at Bealey-Wood Funeral Home Chapel
in Mena with burial at Hilton Cemetery.

SYLVIA M. COOGAN

Sylvia M. Coogan, 90, of Lamar died Thursday, April 14, 2005, at
Countryside Manor Nursing Home.

She was the daughter of the late James A. and Cordelia Rowton 
Howard, widow of Willie C. Coogan, and of the Assembly of God 
faith.

She was preceded in death by one son, Odell Coogan; two sisters,
Goldie Davis and Vida Lott; and one brother, William Howard.

Survivors include one daughter, Rosey B. Lewis of Clarksville; 
two sons, James E. Coogan of Mena and John A. Coogan of 
Clarksville; one sister, Opal Davis of Whiteberg, Texas; one 
sister-in-law, Pearl Coogan of Mena; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-
grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral was at 1 p.m. Sunday, April 17, at Beasley-Wood Chapel 
in Mena with Tim Rose officiating.  Burial was in Hilton Cemetery 
at Board Camp.

Pallbearers were Dennis Dibeck, Gary Davis, Kenneth Cossey, 
Harold Coogan, Samuel Bass, and Johnny Bass.

Local arrangements were under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral 
Home.
