Obituary of Sister Eletta Coogan

SISTER ELETTA
COOGAN, OP

SINSINAWA, Wis. - Sister Eletta Coogan, OP, 78, died Thursday
morning at St. Dominic Villa in Dubuque.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Queen of the Rosary
Chapel at Sinsinawa, where friends may call after 4:30 p.m. 
Friday. Burial will be in the Motherhouse Cemetery. The Scripture
Wake Service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday in the chapel.

Sister Eletta was born in Watertown, Wis., and made her first
profession of vows on Aug. 5, 1928, at Sinsinawa.  She was an
elementary teacher and/or administrator in schools of the 
congregation for 40 years.  She retired to St. Dominic Villa in
1976.

Listed among the survivors are a brother, Robert Coogan, and two
sisters, Mrs. Fred (Isabel) Huber and Mrs. Alfred (Winifred)
Chesner, all of Milwaukee, Wis.
