COOGAN Bank executive WATERTOWN — Richard F. Coogan, 76, of Watertown, formerly of Bedford, N.Y. and Bethlehem, died Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at Waterbury Hospital. He was the husband of Joan A. D'Andrea Coogan. Richard was born Feb. 2, 1935 in New Haven, son of the late Edward N. and Catherine Foley Coogan. Richard was an executive vice-president with Westchester Federal Savings and Loan and Marine Midland Bank of New Rochelle, N.Y. He was a veteran of the Army. Besides his wife, he is survived by his two sons, Mark Coogan of Wethersfield and Christopher Coogan of Plainfield, N.J.; two daughters, Cynthia Jaffre of Danbury and Wendy Liburdi of Bedford Hills, N.Y.; his sister, Sister Mary James of Poughkeepsie, N.Y. and five grandchildren. A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, June 3, at Christ Church, South Main Street, Bethlehem. Burial will follow in New North Cemetery, Woodbury.
