She was known to "light up a room", to be "the life of the party" & everyone's "cheerleader" in good times & bad. She brought joy & laughter to all who knew her. She sang, composed, danced, painted, & loved to read. She thought at an intelligence level that challenged & inspired others. She swam in any weather & somehow got you to join her. She played in the rain, throwing her arms up to welcome all the love in the universe. Children were drawn to her & she loved them. She spent much of her time worrying about any of her many friends who might need help. A graduate of Manatee High & enrolled fall term at SCF for Sociology, her future was about helping others. She was a gift who taught us more than she realized. A bright light has left this earth to join the all encompassing Love hereafter. Lily is survived by her parents, Bernie & Georgia Coogan, 3 brothers, Christopher (Tiffany), Michael (Rose), & Brian (Sunita), niece, Rowan, nephew, Henry, grandmothers, Marion Jack & Joanne Coogan, great aunt, Shirley Bryan & great uncle, David Schanz, 4 aunts, Amber, Marleen, Mary, Rebecca & 3 uncles, Chad, Danny, Gary, 21+ cousins & many, many friends who will miss her so. A Celebration of Life/ Memorial is July 15th, 2017 2pm, Unity Church, 4200 32nd St W, Bradenton. RSVP to In Memory of Lily Coogan on facebook, or 941-592-3020.
