Obituary of John 'Jackie' Coogan

JOHN COOGAN

The funeral of John "Jackie" Coogan, 74, a native of Port Carbon, who 
died in a New York City hospital last Thursday [03 MAR 1960], was 
held from a funeral parlor there today with interment in Calvary
Cemetery, New York.  

Mr. Coogan resided at 160 E. Eighty Fifth St., New York City, and had 
resided in New York since 1929.  

Surviving is a brother, Joseph of Norristown.  Schuylkill County 
relatives surviving include a nephew, Pottsville Chief of Police 
Joseph Wollyung.  

Mr. Coogan's wife, the former Mary Brennan Rowe, a native of the 
Schuylkill Valley, died eight months ago.
