Obituary of Howard Edward Coogan

4 AREA MEN ARE
KILLED IN ACTION

In the official casualty list released today by the Office of War
Information, four Stanislaus area men are reported dead, five are
wounded and two are prisoners of war.

The navy reports the death of Seaman Second Class Howard Edward
Coogan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charley L. Coogan, Salida.  Seaman
Coogan had been reported missing March 5.
