JAMES COOGAN DIES IN FLORIDA Word was received here yesterday of the sudden death at St. Petersburg, Florida, of Mrs. James Coogan of Syracuse. She was spending the winter at St. Petersburg with her family and death was caused by acute indigestion. Mrs. Coogan was a sister of the late Mrs. Peter Owens of 59 South Clover Street. She is survived by three nieces and a nephew of this city. They are: the Misses Mary E. Owens and Catherine A. Owens, Mrs. Anna McNamara, and Edward Owens. COOGAN RITES MONDAY MORNING The funeral of Mrs. Elizabeth Coogan, wife of James Coogan and great- aunt of Jackie Coogan, juvenile film star, will be conducted at 9:45 o'clock Monday morning from the home, 743 Ackerman Avenue, and at 10:30 o'clock from the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. Burial will be in St. Agnes Cemetery. Mrs. Coogan died Wednesday in St. Petersburgh [sic], Fla., where she was passing the winter with her husband, former station master of the New York Central Railroad here.
