Obituary of Edward F. Coogan

EDWARD F. COOGAN

BEVERLY HILLS - Edward F. Coogan, of South Harrison Street, Beverly
Hills, died Wednesday at the age of 71.

Born in New York City, he moved to Beverly Hills seven years ago
from Queens Village, N.Y., and was a retired fireman with the City 
of New York.

Mr. Coogan was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church of
Beverly Hills; Knights of Columbus Third Degree Abbot Sadlier Council
No. 6168 of Lecanto; vice president of the Irish-American Social Club
of Beverly Hills; and member of the Craftsmen's Guild of Beverly 
Hills.

Survivors include his wife, Claire A. Coogan of Beverly Hills; a son,
John "Jack" E. Coogan of Newport News, Va.; one sister; and two
grandchildren.
