Obituary of Dorothy M. (Henris) Coogan

Dorothy M. Coogan, 97, 2734 E. Oakland Ave., died Wednesday, May 11, 
2005 at NHC Healthcare Center, Johnson City, after an extended illness. 
Mrs. Coogan was a native of Sheridan, NY and was a daughter of the late 
Anson Henris and Emma Wilkes Henris. She was the widow of Harry E. 
Coogan and had been a resident of Johnson City since 1998. She was a 
retired nurse and postal clerk for her husband in Sheridan, NY and a 
member of the Sheridan Methodist Church. Survivors include two 
daughters, Barbara Luneke and her husband, James, Johnson City and 
Maureen Coogan Murphy, Avon Park, FL; two granddaughters, Deborah 
Kimball, Auburn, NY and Pamela Hayden, Tampa, FL; five grandsons, 
Theodore Welch, Hilton, NY, Brian Heath, Heathsville, VA, William 
Heath, Rockwood, TN, Brent Heath, Esmont, VA and Lindsay Heath, 
Richmond, VA and seven great grandchildren. A memorial service for Mrs. 
Coogan will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2005 at 2pm in the North 
Chapel of the Morris-Baker Funeral Home, under the direction of Pastor 
Don Pfaffee of the Grace Fellowship Church. Mrs. Coogan will be buried 
with her husband in Sheridan, NY at a later date.
