Obituary of Bernard A. Coogan

BERNARD A. COOGAN

Bernard A. Coogan of Aberdeen died April 28 in Aberdeen.  He
was 71.

Born Jan. 13, 1937 in Altoona, Pa., he was a son of the late James
Bernard and Adelaide Jones Coogan.  He was the husband of Beth Van
Gordon Coogan of Aberdeen.

Mr. Coogan served in the Navy during the Korean War.  He was a 
registered nurse and employed in hospitals and home healthcare.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Marc Coogan
and his wife, Melanie, of Abingdon, and Eric Coogan and his wife,
Paula, of Aberdeen; three grandchildren, James Coogan of Abingdon,
and Ayden and Ariona Coogan, both of Aberdeen; and a sister,
Margaret Coogan, of Shiremanstown, Pa.

Services and interment are private.

Arrangements are by Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home in Aberdeen.
