[MO], [20] NOV 2015): BERNARD COOGAN [photo] Obituary: Fortified with the Sacraments of the Holy Mother Church. Bernard Joseph Coogan passed away on November 19, 2015 at the age of 85. He is the beloved husband of JoAnn Coogan nee Lewis of Lake Saint Louis, Missouri. He is survived by his seven children: Bernard (Georgia) Coogan, Jr. of FL, Daniel (Annie) Coogan of MO, Marleen (Charles) Minton of OH, Gary Coogan of NY, Mary Coogan of MO, Charles Coogan of MO & Rebecca (Stuart) Hanson of MO; five siblings: James Coogan, Charles (Lillian) Coogan, Margaret (John) Bondorew, Gerald (Ingrid) Coogan & Robert (Rita) Coogan; 16 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren & 4 great-great grandchildren and many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents: James & Margaret Coogan nee Stevens; sister, Anne (Robert) Whipple; sister-in-law, Barbara Coogan and great-grandchild, Sabrina Minton. Mr. Coogan served our country during the Vietnam Era. He later retired as Lt. Col. in the Missouri Air National Guard. Bernard was a member of OFA (Organization of Flying Adjusters), in which he held many roles. He loved flying and being with his family. He will be dearly missed.
