COOGAN'S SON ARRESTED FOR SPEEDING

Jay Coogan, a son of James J. Coogan of 599 Fifth avenue, 
Manhattan, formerly Borough President of Manhattan, in the
police court at Flushing yesterday morning was charged with
running his automobile on Manhattan boulevard at twenty-eight
miles an hour.  Coogan pleaded not guilty and gave bail for
examination on Wednesday.  He was trying out a new car.  His
father was in the car when the policeman stopped him.
