COOGAN story

In the Hartford Police Court on Tuesday, Hannah Coogan, once
notorious as the keeper of a house of ill fame, was sent to jail as
a common drunkard.  She left her husband, a respectable man in
Massachusetts, and came to Hartford about five years ago.
