Research:

This the family of John Coogan.  He lived in Leixlip, County 
Kildare, Ireland.

John's son, Patrick Coogan, moved to Ballymena, County Antrim, 
before he finally emigrated to the United States with his sons, 
Owen Coogan and Clement Coogan (mid Nineteenth Century).  The 
family settled in Berkshire County, Massachusetts.

The Coogans were successful businessmen in the Pittsfield area 
for many years.  Descendants of this family still reside in 
the Pittsfield area today.
