This is the family of Dennis Coogan.  He lived in Lanarkshire, 
Scotland.  

Dennis' son, Patrick Coogan, emigrated to the United States in 
the late Nineteenth Century and settled in New London County, 
Connecticut.

This family has also been found as COGAN.
