Research:

This is the family of Benjamin Coogan.  He was born in Ireland 
and lived in County Dublin.

Benjamin's son, Richard C. Coogan, emigrated to the United States 
in the late Nineteenth Century and settled in Peoria (Peoria 
County), Illinois.

Benjamin's grandson, Richard Franklin Coogan, moved to San Mateo,
California.

This group could be related to the family of Michael Coogan, who
also lived in Peoria.
