Research:

This is the family of John Coogan.  He was born in County 
Monaghan, Ireland, and lived with his family in the townland of
Doomhalet.

John emigrated (with his wife and children) to the United Kingdom 
in the late Nineteenth Century and settled in Liverpool, 
Lancashire, England.  John initially settled in Bootle cum 
Linacre - and was joined by other members of the COOGAN family 
(brothers or cousins ?), along with members of the CONNOLLY / 
CONNELLY family.  

The family later moved to Kirkdale (Middleton) and may have a
connection with West Derby.
