Research:

This is the family of John Coogan.  He lived in the vicinity of
the townland of Boyle, County Roscommon, Ireland. 

John's son, Randall Coogan, emigrated to the United States in the
mid Nineteenth Century and settled in Mobile, Alabama.

This family has also been found as COOGEN and COGAN.
