Research:

This is the family of William J. Coogan. He was born in County 
Carlow, Ireland, and resided in Bagenalstown. He later emigrated 
to the United States and settled in New York City, NY. 

William's son, Luke Joseph Coogan, was an express delivery man 
in New York (NY) and Newark (NJ).  Luke finally settled in the 
Bronx, where his descendants still lived in the mid 20th Century.

The children of William's grandson, William J. Coogan, later 
moved across the country, settling in Bergen County (NJ), 
Tennessee and Arizona.

This family has been found as COGAN.
